What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember things between pages, such as whether you are logged in or what choices you have made.
Some cookies are needed for a website to work at all. Others are optional, and we only use those if you tell us we may.
What we use
Necessary cookies — always on
These are the only cookies this website sets on its own. They cannot be switched off, because the site would not work properly without them.

We also use a short-lived, one-way scrambled record derived from your internet connection to stop the enquiry form being flooded by automated spam. It is held on our server rather than in your browser, is not readable as an address, and is deleted after one hour.
Optional cookies
We do not currently use any analytics, advertising or social media tracking on this website. There are no Google Analytics cookies, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts.
If that changes, the cookie banner will ask your permission first, this page will be updated before anything is switched on, and nothing will load unless you agree.
Two optional categories are built into the site ready for that:
Analytics. If we add website analytics, they would tell us things like how many people looked at a course page, so we can improve the site. They would not identify you personally, and IP addresses would be shortened before being stored.
Embedded content. Our Reviews page can display reviews pulled in from Google. Google sets its own cookies when that content loads, so we treat it as optional. If you do not allow it, the reviews are simply not shown and no request is made to Google at all.
Fonts and other resources
The typefaces used on this website are stored on our own server. Nothing is requested from Google Fonts or any similar service, so loading a page does not share your visit with a third party.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.
Turning something off will also remove the cookies associated with it where we are able to do so.
You can also block or delete cookies through your own browser settings. Every browser handles this slightly differently, and the Help section of your browser will explain how. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of this website working.
